YTDownloader Support
Use this page for help with YTDownloader and the YTDownloader Companion Chrome extension.
Before reporting an issue
- Confirm the video is yours, licensed, public-domain, or otherwise allowed for you to save.
- Try the same link in the main app at ytdownloader.getgeofix.xyz.
- For the Chrome extension, open a YouTube video page first, then open the extension popup.
What to include
Include the page URL, browser version, operating system, which button failed, and the exact message you saw. Do not send private account tokens, cookies, payment data, or sensitive personal information.
Privacy
The extension stores notes locally in Chrome. It opens the current YouTube URL in YTDownloader only after you choose the handoff action. Read the privacy policy for the full data model.
