YTDownloader Companion Chrome extension

The extension reads the active YouTube page only when you use the popup or context menu. It uses the current video URL to show a thumbnail, copy a clean link, save a thumbnail, store local notes, and open YTDownloader.

Notes are stored in Chrome local storage on your device. The extension does not sell data, inject ads, or run background tracking.

When data leaves your browser

If you click Open in YTDownloader, the current YouTube URL is opened at ytdownloader.getgeofix.xyz. YTDownloader uses the URL to show preview and processing options.

Allowed use

Use YTDownloader only for your own videos, licensed material, public-domain content, or videos you are allowed to save.
