YTDownloader is a free browser-based YouTube downloader page for videos a user is allowed to save. A user pastes a YouTube link, sees the thumbnail preview, then chooses whether to watch now, listen now, save available MP4 video, save available MP3 audio, download the thumbnail, export captions/transcripts, or create transcript-only notes.

Primary user jobs:
- Save an available YouTube video as MP4.
- Save available YouTube audio as MP3.
- Watch or listen before waiting for a full download.
- Download a YouTube thumbnail image.
- Export captions, transcripts, and transcript-only notes when captions are available.

Privacy and data model:
- The public page is designed to be lightweight and browser-first.
- No account is required to paste a link and preview options.
- Finished files are returned as result links when processing is available.
- The service is not intended to keep a permanent user download library.
- The companion Chrome extension stores local notes in Chrome local storage.

Allowed use:
